Saw a Civic Type R driving in Cincinnati. It had manufacture plates. The guy driving threw up the peace sign at my friend and I. Sorry for the terrible pictures. Also this is my first post on oppo and I’m on my way to buy a 240sx, big day.

Nice find! But I’m sorry, that thing looks like butt.

Saw a couple doing a few demo lap around Suzuka... Very impressed... Shredding tires all way the until 3rd gear, no problem at all... FAST, too.

Ah. Ok.

One of my neighbours just bought one in ‘Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic’.
It looks good but is starting to get a little dated as it’s not a big change style wise from the eighth generation Civic (2005-2011) to the current ninth generation (2011-present) which got a nose job and some tweaks with the Type R.

I’m more curious about the third brake light delete on the BRZ you’re in. Was there a relocated third brake light mounted to the headliner? I’ve seen a few threads about that but I’m actually curious how much effort went into it and how it looks.

Looks like it came straight out of a fast and the furious set. Younger me would’ve loved it.
I doubt it would be able to get under a semi though

How does one get a Type R here? I thought they weren’t offered in the U.S. for the past couple gens.

I still think this car is 10-15 years too late.

My friend says it’s an Intec kit. It’s mounted to the window by 3m double sided tape. He recommends the ft86speedfactory video tutorial.
